Introduction
Meirion Pritchard is the Global Brand Design Lead for Meta and Meta AI, where he guides brand design across emerging technologies—from virtual and augmented reality to next-gen AI. With two decades of creative leadership spanning publishing, fashion, sport, and tech, he’s built and led multidisciplinary teams at organizations navigating profound transformation.
Meirion began his career at the iconic design magazine Wallpaper*, where he helped evolve the publication’s art direction and digital presence. He’s since brought that same systems-meets-storytelling mindset to brands like Nike, Bottega Veneta, and now Meta—shaping everything from global brand systems to editorial platforms to future-facing creative orgs.
Press and achievements
Industry awards – My work has been recognized by D&AD, The Clio Awards, Graphis Awards, The Royal Society of Arts, Art Directors Club, One Club, Society of Publication Design, and the British Society of Magazine Editors. I’ve been awarded an honorary fellowship to the Royal Society of Arts.
Publications and exhibitions – A respected member of the global design community, my work has been featured in numerous design magazines and books including Creative Review, Design Week, Grafik, It’s Nice That and i-D. I’ve also had work exhibited at The Walker Art Center and The London Design Museum.
Public speaking – I have been invited to speak and lead workshops at design conferences in Europe, Australasia and the US. Highlights include The V&A Museum (London), Semi Permanent (Sydney, Auckland), the AIGA (New York) and at the Bilbao Guggenheim.
